We recently got done spending 3 months in Songtan, South Korea (October 2015- January 2016). We are a little behind on posts, though (we have made it to Malaysia, and now Vietnam since then), so we will probably continue posting things from Korea over the next month or so, interspersed with more current posts. Here are our Scenes from Songtan.
Songtan is located in the northern part of Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggido, South Korea and is the city where Osan Air Force Base is located. We thought it was a cute town and I decided to just make a post sharing some of the photos from the town (or the area of it around where we stayed) during our time there. While the town feels small, there are actually a little over a hundred thousand residents. It was beautiful in the Fall and Winter. We imagine it looks nice in the Spring as well.

I’m seriously in love with your film photographs! <3
do you mind telling the film and the camera you're using?
Thanks! xx
Thank you! 🙂 I use a Pentax KM. You can read a little bit about how I got into it my Chungmuro post (not sure if you read it yet: https://marriedwithmaps.com/2016/01/03/chungmuro-film-photography/).
I am a bad film photographer because I don’t always record (just sometimes) what film and settings I used. I will work on that and begin noting this information! I usually use Kodak Portra and Fujifilm Superia because they tend to be most easy to find though I’ve used a few others. Most of the Korea ones should be one of those, though.
